Sometimes when nosotros detect ourselves awakened in the middle of the night, worry, fear, and struggles can press hard. Peace feels far away. It's difficult to even retrieve with clarity; too many thoughts and feelings are swirling around in the night. And information technology's in those very moments when we most need to pray, that often we tin can hardly find the words to speak.
But God knows. He understands. And He promises to be with united states of america.
A few years ago when our family was walking through a very hard trial, I found myself there. Dark afterwards night, I was awakened by this deep hurt and burden in my centre. In fact, it seemed worse at night. Because bug and hard times can easily feel more intense in the middle of the darkness and tranquility, when you can't sleep, or you lot feel alone, and your heed becomes a battlefield.
I prayed, cried, and wrestled with my thoughts and fears. And truly, the but thing I found that brought peace and comfort to my soul was God's Word.

I would say out loud every single verse that came to my listen, praying His powerful reminders back to Him. Sometimes I would read chapter afterwards chapter until slumber came once again. I would awaken, the Bible even so laying open, right over my heart. Information technology didn't make all our problems go abroad. It wasn't a magical, instant solution. When I woke up, the difficulties were still in that location. But through time, I realized this: my mind, heart, and spirit were beingness renewed day by twenty-four hour period, dark by dark. God's peace, healing, and comfort were washing over me every time I spoke His words, believing them to exist true.
His words are living, active, and powerful. They are the only affair that tin bring us true peace in this life, whether it be through the brightness of day or in the darkest of dark.

Dear God,
We're in need of your peace and truth to soothe our hearts and spirits right now. We cull faith over fearfulness. Thank you that yous are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of doubtfulness or trouble.
We confess to you Lord, that sometimes our worries seem as well large, we don't encounter a mode out of our current situation, and we can't empathise what you're doing. But we know that y'all see the big picture and thank you that you lot are with us in information technology all. Aid us to trust you more. Thank you for your reminders that you are true-blue and sure. Thank you that through every weakness and hard place, your strength is displayed in our lives. We just tin can't do information technology on our ain. We're weary, we're hurting. But yous can work miracles, in u.s.a., and through usa. We know that you will plow this circumstance around for good somehow. We believe that yous are fully able to bring u.s. through this storm to the other side of the troubles we've faced, into a new flavor of healing and calorie-free. We choose to promise in you.

Cheers for your promise that it'southward your peace alone that will baby-sit and protect our hearts and minds in Christ, as we pray nearly all that concerns us. In the dark, in the quiet, at these times we feel then lonely, would you delight refresh and renew our spirits in you lot once more. Lord, nosotros know that your give-and-take reminds usa over and over that we never have to exist afraid. We know that you are close and your protection and presence are powerful. Nosotros give thanks yous for your covering and reminders that yous accept stationed your angels around usa to guard united states of america in all our ways. Thanks that you never sleep or sleep, for you are constantly watching over us, always aware, and we are safe and secure in you.
Nosotros pray for your blessings to surroundings us, that you would make every plan you've birthed in our hearts to succeed at but the correct time. We pray that you lot would be opening doors, clearing pathways, endmost the wrong roads, and setting upwardly our way for tomorrow.

We can trust that He will take care of whatever concerns u.s.a.. He knows the best way; His timing is perfect. And He is able. He's the storm-calmer, the peace-giver, the burden-lifter, the hope-bringer. Goose egg is too hard for Him.
For He alone is our peace.
